The commitment to sustainable development drives Duratex’s
actions in terms of its relationship with the local communities in the areas
where it has a presence, with the support and development of programs
aimed particularly at children and adolescents.
Professionalization
The main focal points of the company’s
social actions are based on the
professionalization of the young and
environmental education. A total of
R$1.1 million was invested in these
initiatives in 2008, compared with
R$2.6 million in 2007.
