Net revenue stood at R$ 606.58 million ($1 = R$ 1.78) in the quarter, up 17.8% on the year.
Ebitda rose 46.4%, to R$ 196.1 million, with the companys Ebitda margin improving to 32.3% from 26%.
At the end of March, Duratexs net debt amounted to R$ 998.9 million, corresponding to 1.27 times its annualized Ebitda. Gross debt was at R$ 1.5 billion, with R$ 945.1 million due to mature in the long term.
Duratex is a unit of the Itaúsa holding company, which also controls Brazils largest private bank Itaú Unibanco. ( Luana Pavani )
