01. What are the Duratex share tickers and in which Stock Exchange are they traded?
Duratex shares are traded at the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA) since 1951. The ticker for the common share is DTEX3.
02. What is the number of shares issued?
On April 29, 2011, together with the increase in the capital, were issued 91,672,555 new common shares, with no nominal value, and assigned free of charge to shareholders by way of bonus , at 2 (two) new shares for each lot 10 (ten) shares for the shareholders with a position at the end of April 29, 2011.

As a result of the bonus share, on 04/29/2011 Duratex Capital Stock was comprised of 550,035,331 shares, being only common shares.
03. How is the Company’s shareholder structure represented?

04. Has the Company entered any differentiated level of Corporate Governance?
In 2009 Duratex joined the BM&Fbovespa differentiated level of Corporate Governance known as Novo Mercado.

Yes, the shares has 100% Tag-along rights.
06. How often does the Company publish its results?
The results are published in a quarterly basis, and reflect the achievements of the first, second, third and fourth quarters. As soon as they are published, the results are then posted on its web site, in the Financial Information section. The calendar of corporate events brings a schedule of publishing dates and the respective conference call dates.
07. What is the Company’s dividend policy?
The Company’s by-laws grant stockholders a minimum mandatory dividend of 30% of adjusted net income.

Company Operations

08. What are the main business segments of Duratex and its main markets?
Duratex has two very distinct Divisions – the Wood Division and the Deca Division. The Wood Division manufactures reconstituted wooden boards (hardboard, MDP, MDF/HDF/SDF and laminated flooring), mainly for the furniture industry. The main brands of the Wood Division are Duratex, Duratree, Duraplac, MaDeFibra and Durafloor. The Deca Division manufactures sanitary metal fittings and vitreous chinaware, as well as related accessories, under the Deca and Hydra brands.

Currently, Duratex leads the Brazilian reconstituted wooden panels market, and is one of the main exporters of hardboard. Deca leads the sanitary metal fittings market, and has significant share in the sanitary vitreous chinaware market, especially in the medium and high-end segments.
09. Does the Company have subsidiaries abroad?
The Company has commercial offices and warehouses in the US and Europe (Belgium) besides a small metal fittings manufacturing operation in Argentina, where it also sells vitreous china imported from Brazil. Operates in this country under the brand name Deca Piazza. This infrastructure, together with the logistic operations, enables Duratex to operate as a strong international player.
10. Debt structure of Duratex?
At the end of June 2011 the total debt amounted R$1,929.8 million, equivalent to a net debt of R$1,170.1 million, of which 5.9% refers to debts in foreign currency, with a protection of hedging. The total debt and amortization schedule reflect a comfortable position, reflected by the Net Debt/EBITDA (last 12 months) and 1.31 x Net Debt/Equity of 32.8%.
