We are in a period of transition to a circular economy, increasingly focused on renewable supplies and products with less social and environmental impacts. We believe that the search for differentiated raw materials is an alternative not only to improve the management of our costs and production processes, but also a lever for the generation of value and reputation of our brands. Innovation and the search for sustainable solutions are essential to anticipate consumer trends and implement new ways of producing and developing our products.

Given this scenario, our commitment is developing solutions that guarantee the well-being and comfort of people, while reducing the socio-environmental impacts of our products, from their manufacture to disposal. We act to deliver value-added products to our customers and consumers.

The Deca brand offers 389 economizing solutions to the market, which guarantee savings of up to 70% in water consumption. Among them, faucets, mixers, showers, discharge systems, basins and urinals.

The Hydra brand stands out for products such as the Digital Polo Hybrid shower, which uses electric energy to heat the water at the beginning of the bath, while the gas system does not reach its full operation, guaranteeing a reduction of more than 90% in electricity consumption, plus greater comfort and cold water economy.

In addition, in the Madeira Division, all our panels and floors are made from certified reforestation wood, which helps to reduce pressure under the native forest areas of the country and discourage the use of illegal supplies in the market.

SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE USE

Giving priority to the excellence and the safe and sustainable use of all our products, we offer informative and free training on the subject to our clients and consumers. In the Deca Division, we developed a booklet that contains safety tips and guidelines for the installation of our products, as well as suggestions for using them consciously. In Madeira Division, we provide a free course, in the Agudos (SP) unit, for all our certified installers in order to teach how to install our products efficiently and safely.

INNOVATION

We know that encouraging the spirit of innovation in our collaborators is fundamental to anticipate market trends and offer increasingly sustainable inputs and solutions to our clients and consumers. That is why we have maintained the Imagine program since 2012, an initiative that encourages all collaborators to suggest innovative ideas in an internal portal created exclusively for the subject. Participants are rewarded and valued in our company through a series of tools.

OUR FUTURE VISION

The search for solutions that reduce environmental impacts and increase consumer well-being is one of the focuses of our business, directing our efforts and investments. Increasing the eco-efficiency of our products is a commitment we make in line with our vision and strategy in order to promote the development of our business and benefit clients and consumers with more sustainable innovations.

We believe that our contribution should also be increasingly directed towards the structuring of sector strategies and public policies that reduce the impact of our products after their use. The strengthening of reverse logistics mechanisms and the reuse of materials in the production chain generate benefits for the companies involved in our value chain and for the whole society.

Our commitments to the topic "Sustainable Raw Materials and Solutions" up to the year 2025 are:

  • For 100% of Wood products to have less E2 by 2018 and E1 by 2021*
  • To develop two alternatives for renewable raw materials for manufacture of Deca and Hydra products
  • To have revenue of BRL 20 million coming from ProÁgua services
  • For 100% of the finished metals and Deca toilets portfolio to be ecoefficient
  • For 25% of the sales volume at Hydra to be ecoefficient products
  • To lead implementation of a reverse logistics model
